Description of the job

An apprenticeship for an hydraulic systems engineer has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in BLAGNAC. You will join the Hydraulic Systems Customer Services Department .
Within the framework of Airworthiness Authorities regulations, in agreement with the Engineering Support department management policy and procedures and under the control of a qualified engineer, the apprentice provides engineering assistance to the customer, ensuring timely responses with good quality and with on-site assistance where necessary.
He/she monitors in-service events, identifies potential impact and launches appropriate corrective action with the relevant design organisation. He/she will also have to ensure the required level of progress and follow-up.
He/she ensures feedback of in-service experience, maintenance activities and significant issues to management, design organisation and the vendors.
The apprentice will have to get acquainted with Customer Services department processes and AIRBUS products, analyse the existing and make a transition towards digitalisation.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  To answer all technical queries raised by the Customers within the defined time scale.
·  To analyse all in-service events to identify potential impact (including airworthiness, reliability, cost, etc.), launch and progress all actions necessary to find the cause of the events and initiate/follow-up development of corrective actions or product improvement with the Airbus design organisation and the vendors.
·  To evaluate the cost impact upon the operators of various in-service problems.
·  To provide Customers with relevant technical information using all Customer Services appropriate means or media.
·  To ensure transfer of in-service experience and maintenance activities to the management, to other divisions of Customer Services and Airbus design organisation including vendors.
·  To attend technical meetings with Customer engineering and maintenance organisations.
·  To define complex technical trouble shooting

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level BAC+2 (or equivalent), you want to integrate an engineering school
·  Technical skills in mecanics and electricity
·  IT and Excel skills
·  Good presentation skills, both oral and written.
·  Highly concerned by Customer service and service minded
·  Ability to cope with highly demanding environment.
·  Good co-ordination and relational skills
·  Language Skills: Negotiation level of French – Advanced level of English
