Description of the job

The Satellite Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) department of Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an apprentice (M/F).
The mission of the apprentice will be to ensure the proper implementation of quality assurance rules and to verify the conformity of the company's industrial processes.

This work/study placement will start on the 4th September 2017 (date subject to some flexibility) and is for a duration of 3 years.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main activities will include:

·  Verifying and assessing the implementation of the defined quality requirements in the Quality management system and the quality plan.
·  Ensuring that the industrial processes are in compliance with quality assurance requirements.
·  Defining and ensuring the implementation of controls in production.
·  Steering the processing of non-conformities, exemptions, analysing non-conformities related to quality and exemption requests.
·  Following up preventive and corrective actions, participating in the "taylorization" of standards

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

·  You are completing a 5-year degree in Engineering/Quality Methods
·  Soft skills: open-minded, good interpersonal skills, and good communication skills
·  Language skills: English: intermediate level; French: fluent level
