Job Description

Vous recherchez un contrat d’Alternance, d'une durée allant de 1 à 3 ans, afin de valider votre cursus. La durée maximale du contrat peut être portée à 4 ans pour les personnes reconnues « travailleur handicapé ».

Ces alternances pourront commencer à partir de septembre 2020 (en fonction des calendriers des écoles).

En fonction de votre projet, vous développerez vos compétences dans différents domaines.

Le contexte pourra être celui de la R&D ou de projets opérationnels client dans des environnements français ou internationaux et impliquera des connaissances connexes telles que la gestion de projet ou l'amélioration continue.

Vos tâches et missions, en fonction du contexte, pourraient être de :

·  Participer à la définition des traitements, à leur développement, à leur validation et qualification
·  Participer à la définition de l’architecture logicielle des produits et des solutions.
·  Apporter les bonnes pratiques pour la réalisation d’un produit fiable et performant.
·  Assurer que les produits prennent en compte les contraintes d’exploitation chez nos clients.
·  Contribuer aux choix technologiques et à l’innovation.
·  Assurer le suivi du bon fonctionnement de nos systèmes en opération (suivi de la qualité des images, maintenance des systèmes logiciels).

Contexte (English)

The Space System business line of Airbus Defence & Space is the European leader in the field of optical Earth Observation systems. The company, through its history, is a pioneer of space industry, responsible for the development of the first Earth Observation space systems in Europe, starting with the SPOT family.

Since this time, the company has led the major European developments in the field, through programs such as METOP, ERS, ENVISAT, HELIOS, PLEIADES or SPOT6. This experience, developed over the years, is now applied on export turn-key programs such as FORMOSAT, THEOS, ALSAT, CHILI, KazEOSat-1 or PeruSat, involving up to sub metric resolution systems, or such as COMS, a geostationary meteorological satellite for Korea.

This evolution has led Airbus Defence & Space to develop a strong expertise in  Image Processing Systems through a group of about 80 engineers (in 2019), within the Upstream Ground Systems Division (TESU). Our teams carry out activities in fundamental image domains for Space, such as image simulation & processing, image quality, in-orbit testing, embedded processing, high performance computing, vision-based navigation, deep Learning.

Based on this domain expertise, our teams are developing high performance operational image processing systems from design and engineering to their delivery to our customers.

Thus, the department embraces a very large set of competencies and roles, including image processing engineers , data scientists software developers , embedded software developers, sofware IVV engineers, project and work package managers, and also agile oriented quality engineers.
