Description of the job

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager within Airbus Nacelles Integrated Solutions (NIS) in Toulouse/France.

NIS is an internal start-up that aims at integrating new Airbus nacelles for A320neo Propulsions Systems.

The business is currently in product development phase, picking up speed with a global supply-chain being put in place, and Entry into Service is expected by 2022.

You will join the NIS Procurement team on the NIS plateau in Toulouse, France, to lead all Procurement-related activities for a given perimeter of NIS supplier work-packages. We are a dynamic, intercultural and fun team and wish to extend our capacities.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be in charge of:

·  Supplier Performance Management: support multi-functional (IPT) teams, contribute to/lead various progress meetings, drive Supplier Ratings/Score Cards, ensure effective communication, issue resolution, team alignment with suppliers;

·  Contract Management: ensure contractual requirements are fully met by suppliers, keep up to date contractual documents (Amendments, Non Disclosure Agreements, and Appendices etc.);

·  Cost Management (Recurring Cost, Non Recurring Cost): drive anticipative cost RC/NRC monitoring;

·  Risks and Opportunities: drive R&O register, claim management;

·  Commercial/Contract negotiations;

·  Ordering activities / support.

The allocated perimeter of responsibilities will comprise one or two NIS work-packages, contracts and supplier accounts – tbd for:

·  Exhaust,

·  EBU,

·  TRAS,

·  Thrust Reverser Structure,

·  Fan Cowl.

Required skills

We are looking for a smart, business-oriented and ambitious team-player, willing to plunge into this adventure.

A majority of the following skills and experiences would be required, leaving the remainder for personal development:

·  3-5 years' Procurement experience with international aerospace corporations,

·  Experience in structure and systems contracts negotiation/drafting and commercial negotiations skills,

·  Aeronautic Nacelles / Propulsion Systems industry knowledge - especially nacelles tier2 landscape,

·  knowledge of nacelles aftermarket business would be a plus,

·  knowledge of Procurement tools, such as ePROC would be a plus,

·  Advanced excel, power-point skills,

·  Strong team-player,

·  Good communication/presentation skills,

·  Negotiation level of English

·  French would be a plus.
