The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) programme is an international programme sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, which is open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Airbus is looking for a Quality Engineer
- VIE (m/f) for a 24-months contract to be part of the Quality department of Airbus China. You will be based in Beijing.
You will support Quality activities at the Airbus Beijing Centre in China.
Your main activities will include:
? Supporting the ABEC (Airbus Beijing Engineering Centre) Head of Quality to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of ABEC QMS through indicators and quality gates, and continually improving it.
? Preparing and supporting the conduct of regular Management Reviews meetings, following up on identified improvement opportunities and action plans.
? Localising the ABP processes to be applied at ABEC in line with the ABEC business context, scope and activities. When necessary, developing the local procedural support documentations.
? Maintaining the list of applicable ABP processes and associated procedural documentation, closely following up via New Letters, updating alerts to capture new updates, evaluating the level of impacts and making sure that such updates are well acknowledged to relevant internal teams.
? If needed, contacting AIRBUS central team to clarify in case of any questions or critical issues.
? Ensuring the appropriate Documentation Management activities within ABEC to fulfil regulatory, authority, standard and Airbus corporate requirements.
? Providing training and supports to End Users for DMS tool. Maintaining a pop-up issue list, evaluating the impact and prioritising the new development needs to DMS tool (workflow, interfaces, access, etc.)
? Supporting the ABEC Head of Quality on development of the team competences with regards to the Quality Standards/ Tools (PPS, FMEA, CnQ, SPC, E2E, etc.), providing training and supports to operation teams.
? Contributing to regular quality training/awareness session to ABEC team.
- Contributing to the regular Quality reports, company Executive Report preparations.
- Taking part in weekly Quality meetings, and to project review meetings when requested.

VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens, graduates up to 28 years old
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country.
- Ideally, have a previous experience working abroad.
- Fluent in English.
With an engineering degree (master 2 or engineering schools or equivalent), you have two years post graduate experience (mandatory).
You have acquired a first experience in Engineering structure and/or Mechanical system installation in an industrial environment. (Automotive, aircraft…)
A first experience in quality and the knowledge of some quality standards and methods will be a strong plus for your application (Practical problem solving, FMEA, Q6)
You have a negotiation level of English and another language will be appreciated (French, German or Spanish).
