Traineeship at the adidas

The purpose of this traineeship is to provide the trainee with experience of the practical application of theoretical knowledge the traineeship student has already acquired at university and to acquire new skills and knowledge. This traineeship description contains tasks and responsibilities that will be learned step by step and the trainee will be accompanied by adidas employees at all times. adidas International/ Marketing /Trading B.V. will ensure that the trainee is given tasks and responsibilities according to the level of competence of the trainee and any educational objectives for the trainee period. The trainee will sign a trainee agreement, which is not an employment contract.

Purpose:

Fully support and drive Western Europe objectives, namely to accelerate growth of the business conducted via its own eCom channels through:

· Execute and Optimize Paid Search operational activities to establish the adidas and Reebok eShops as the online destinations of choice. Focus areas will be on Google Shopping /Feed management and campaign creation and implementation of textads.

Key Responsibilities:

· Implement the eCommerce paid search and feed strategy, across
a selection of European markets for the adidas and Reebok brands
· Day to day paid search and feeds operations to meet KPIs and customer acquisition goals
· Carry out scheduled and ad hoc tasks in order to help drive top & bottom line growth of our paid search and feeds programme to achieve sales, ROI and total contribution goals.
· Work cross-functionally with merchandising, online marketing and marketing activations teams to create synergies and explore & exploit opportunities.
· Implement testing, reporting, optimisation on Google and Bing activity to identify key levers and opportunities for improvements.

Your profile :

· Graduated with Bachelor/Master degree focused on Business, Marketing, or similar fields.
· Recent graduate (2 years max)
· Applies to EU citizens only due to work permit regulations
· Working knowledge of Google AdWords and Doubleclick Search is beneficial; Adobe Analytics knowledge would be beneficial
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
· Strong communication skills: written & oral and ability to quickly build strong relationships
· High attention to detail; strong analytical skills and excellent organisational & planning abilities
· Proficient in written & spoken English, an additional European language be beneficial.
