Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

The Assistant Manager Communications support the development of an integrated, through-the-line, marketing communications package to support adidas’ global and specific BU marketing and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Production:

· Coordinate all aspects of shoot preparation including, but not limited to:
· Wardrobe organization and shipment for shoots and events
· Sample order and inventory
· Support in facilitating payment for production related topics
· Coordinate the distribution of creative tools to markets using available distribution platforms accordingly
· If necessary, manage small productions under the supervision of line manager

Process and strategic Support:

· Aid the preparation of internal planning and strategic documents
· Contribute to the development of short and long term communications strategy based on the global SBP and specific business unit objectives and drive the development of an effective channel-planning strategy based on the consumer and marketing objectives.

Retails and Market management:

· Support Sr. Manager in the creation of retail toolkits and materials
· Support Sr. Manager for any market management topic

General Support:

· Manage shipping and receiving process for all samples and storage organization
· Other general administrative support as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· Interpersonal/communication skills and some level of strategic thinking.
· Some experience in marketing communications.
· Understanding of an ever-changing marketing landscape and exposure to project management.
· Ability to collaborate and use platforms and tools utilized by multiple functions as well as ability to support internal and external cross-functional groups: product marketing, communications, social, digital.
· Understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry.
· Presentation and organizational skills.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Master Degree / MBA a plus.
· 1+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience.
· Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
