Assistant Manager, Laboratory, Footwear Product Operations – based in Serang / Tangerang Operations Center

Purpose:
Is the direct link between the LO (Liasion Office) laboratory management and the assigned factory laboratory. To ensure that dedicated factory laboratory is set-up and works according to adidas group requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supports factory lab in their daily work regarding testing, testing schedules, and hazardous susbstance control and monitoring(e.g. random testing schedule)
· Manages the implementation of all adidas Group procedures and manuals in the factory labs and ensures their proper handling
· Give necessary training to factory lab on testing procedure and make sure they understand the implementation
· Supports, analysis of all kind of lab test reports within or outside PDM (Product Data Management); and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) in case of Reebokfactory to determine quality of materials and components and recommends actions for improvement.
· Coordinates special studies and/or comparative tests about Requirements and Test Methods whether for new set-ups or for updating purposes.
· Supports the LO laboratory manager for the preparation of all lab related audits
· Support Operation team of respective factories on any issue of lab and quality concern
· Responsible for continuously maintaining high-quality factory labs in his/her region
· Support LO Laboratory manager on regulation implementation of RSL (Restricted Substance List) in factories

Requisite Education and Qualifications:

· College degree major in material science or chemistry, or equivalent to 3 years’ experience in testing position in footwear quality control lab.
· Good knowledge in RSL
· Knowledge of footwear development and production.
· Good level of written and spoken English.
· Good level of MS office, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Good communication skill.
