Adecco Cramlington are delighted to represent our client in their search for a Wood Machinist on a 3 Month Fixed term Contract. This is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate who wants to be offered stability within a growing organisation.
Job Specification
The duties of the role include:
· Experience of wood working machinery such as panel saws, table saws, edge bander, bandsaw, cross cut saw is essential
· Spindle moulder experience highly advantageous
· Must have experience of all types of board and timber related products and an in-depth knowledge of the joinery sector
· Able to work from detailed production drawings and cutting lists
· You must be able to work to precise tolerances and must possess an intricate attention to detail
· Forklift truck license desirable
· Maintain housekeeping to the highest of standards
· Undertake routine machine maintenance
The successful candidate must:
· Be able to consistently work to a high standard
· Take pride in their own work and carry out their own quality checks
· Be able to manage their own workload and keep to deadlines
· Be a practical thinker, able to resolve issues with minimal involvement from other departments / management
· Be flexible able to react to an ever-evolving production plan
· Be available to work overtime, including weekends, when required
