To provide care to victims and witnesses and attendance at Court leading to effective trials. To ensure that accurate records are kept using appropriate systems and the information is maintained in accordance with force policy. Duties include:

* Input retrieve and present data using a computer
* Present evidence in court and at other hearings
* Provide care for victims and witnesses
* Provide specialist advice and knowledge regarding the Criminal Justice System
* Provide excellent customer service
* Compliance with the Victims Code

Essential skills & experience

* Experience in Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge and/or experience of multi-functional, multi-agency work
* Experience of dealing with a wide range of people from a cross section of the community, in varying circumstances
* Proven ability to plan and prioritise your own workload
* Excellent communication skills & demonstrable ability to provide advice and guidance, particularly over the telephone
