·  To undertake tasked and proactive patrol duties, the primary role of carrying out focused and high levels of enforcement and investigation activities across the borough, addressing issues of crime and disorder, anti-social behaviour, nuisance, environmental issues and other offences.

·  To respond as directed or tasked to Members Enquires, service requests and demands, complaints and tasking.

·  To work as required or directed with the police, fire and other statutory partners, council services, external partners and other enforcement agencies to prevent, tackle or resolve crime and disorder, anti-social behaviour, nuisance, environmental issues, highways and traffic offences. To enforce other areas as deemed necessary.

·  To maximise patrol visibility to achieve outcomes as detailed within the relevant service plan and priorities, appraisal, tasking or directions

Qualifications

·  Possession of current and valid Community Safety Accreditation Scheme certificate or will need to pass the CSAS security check prior to appointment and pass CSAS during first six months of probation period.
Current and valid CSAS may be a condition of continued Employment.

·  Possession of a full current manual driving license (provisional driving licences will not be accepted) desirable.

Working conditions/circumstances

·  Required to patrol on foot or cycle (optional) as and when required.

·  Required to work outside in all weather conditions and lone patrol when necessary.

·  To wear the supplied uniform as required and conform to any instructions or dress code.

·  To undertake training in the use of vehicles, equipment and all new devices and comply with procedures for their use.

Handle sensitive data and ensure confidentiality at all time

· 
The post holder must be flexible, working 5 days out of 7 on a rotating shift pattern that may entail late turns, night duty and weekend working, depending on business need.

· 
To be flexible over working hours and shifts in order to ensure that the team is always sufficiently staffed and that high quality service delivery is maintained.

· 
Shift patterns may change subject to service requirements with notice.

To carry out appropriate duties, as directed, at any office location and on any Enforcement Officer team in the Borough, to ensure that service delivery within the Service is maintained
