Our client based at London Luton Airport, are offering some great opportunities for Warehouse Cargo Operatives.
The role is on-going.
In order to be meet the criteria required, you will need to:
Duties
· Load and unload air cargo onto vehicles and storage areas
· Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
· Ensure paperwork related to the cargo is correct
· Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment
· Offload lorries and pallets
· Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
· Break down pallets
· Load goods into X-ray machines
· Operate specialist equipment which may include vans, fork lift trucks, cargo dollies/trailers.
· Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager
· Comply with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements
· Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)

In order to gain and Airside pass, you must:
·
Able to work hours allocated - currently 1400-2200 Monday - Friday (no week-ends)

· * Be able to make your own way to London Luton Airport
* Provide Eligibility to work in the UK and have current and valid photo ID
* Be free from un-spent convictions (Criminal Check)
* Must not have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months at a time in the last 5 years.
* Undertake 5 year references check and support any gaps of 28 days or more
