We are looking for an experienced Stock/ Production Co-ordinator to join a fantastic manufacturing organisation for approximately 15 months to cover Maternity leave.

This will initially on a temporary basis but could move to a fixed term contract.

Job Purpose:

·  Overall responsibility to ensure stock system is fully reflective of the physical status in production

·  Stock management of pre-blend and raw materials conducting a monthly stock take to align physical stock ,investigating any discrepancies.

·  Ensure guideline documentation for the use of systems is accurate, train individuals in systems use, and actively identify anomalies which can be addressed by further training.

Principal Accountabilities:

·  Operation in accordance with the company's Health, Safety & Environmental awareness policy and associated Safe Systems of Work.

·  Subject Matter Expert & responsible for ensuring all manufacturing journals within the system are accurate before ending Work Orders.

·  Subject Matter Expert for the cyclic Powder stock counts including all pre-blend stock, raw materials, minor raw materials and packaging

·  Presentation of stock update recommendations to managers.

·  Managing the stock systems to ensure accuracy of work orders in accordance with financial expectations.

·  Development of systems.

·  Responsible for providing the Master Data Team with production formulas and routes that are active and accurate, ensuring reports are calculated correctly for each area.

·  Be the key point of contact for employees to ensure that they use the system correctly. The jobholder will identify and train all employees who do not consistently meet the competency requirement to accurately use the systems

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed to Fulfil the Role:

·  A minimum of 2 years' experience with demonstrable awareness of Safety, Health and Environmental Policies.

·  Have a good understanding of ERP & associated inventory control/management systems (Microsoft AX knowledge desirable)

·  Have experience of creating training documentation and competency standards, specifically with regards to production interaction, and the ability to train all individuals on the job.

·  Possess relevant IT skills in MS Office suite of applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Access

·  Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively using own initiative and motivation, often with tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining an attention to detail.

·  Willing to learn, improve, and adapt to changing business conditions and requirements.

Qualifications Required:

·  Minimum GCSE level education, including Maths & English.

·  Qualifications or demonstrable knowledge of production processing and ERP systems

o (Microsoft AX preferred)
