An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Leasing Officer to join a public sector organisation based in East London. This role will work directly with prospective and existing tenants and leaseholders, delivering and promoting sales and lettings across the range of of schemes and products offered by the organisation.

The successful candidate would ideally have good working knowledge of sales, lettings, practicalities around leases, shared ownership and their application and a good working knowledge of local and national issues around housing supply and demand and social housing.

The successful candidate will be required to act as a subject matter expert in respect of leases (both residential and commercial), shared ownership, as well as on Reside and the affordable lettings offer.

Key duties will include:

·  Deliver a professional, commercially focused and flexible sales & leases function, providing excellent services in respect of access to both commercial and residential properties on behalf of the organisation

·  Work collaboratively with others to maximise income from the services and schemes delivered, including advice on rent and service charges.

·  As part of a team, accountable for promotion and support of home ownership for all property purchases, including right to buy, right to invest, shared ownership, and other assets.

·  Provide information, guidance and practical support to colleagues within the service and to stakeholders, tenants and leaseholders on all aspects of sale, commercial and residential leasing, and home ownership.

·  Provide line management support and supervision to designated Sales and Leasing Officers within the team, inform and guide direct report's work and performance in support of achieving the overall team and service objectives.

·  Deliver new schemes and products, working with stakeholders to ensure the scheme introduction is smooth and compliant and that use of assets is maximised.

·  Provide and and deliver a range of specialist/premium services to tenants, leaseholders and Home Owners, ensuring they are accessible, relevant and in line with best practise.

·  Contribute to to S20 consultation and analysis of outcomes as required and take a lead role in activities and implementation of outcomes.

·  Act as a key point of contact for premium leaseholders and tenants, building strong relationships, promoting tenant/leaseholder responsibility and working to establish clear understanding for tenants and leaseholders of roles and responsibilities.
