Sales Administrator

Up to 20k dependant on experience

25 days holiday plus stats

Pension scheme

Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 4:30pm (4pm finish on Fri)

MAIN PURPOSE

This role will provide support to sales staff, office functions (e.g. finance, customer services) and customers. It will facilitate development of business in the commercial sector and/or sales that are led by specification.

KEY OBJECTIVES

Responsible for the day-to-day support of the specification sales force and customers using established 'relationship management' processes / systems.

This involves an end to end process - from the creation and administration of customer accounts through to the production of sales quotes and customer contracts.

Additionally, it will be necessary to work with a variety of information sources in order to ensure that sales opportunities / initiatives are tracked and managed.

The maintenance of a high level of customer satisfaction will be supported by ensuring the fulfilment and/or management of customer queries requests within the wider business.

Main Duties

·  Provision of administrative support to the sales force / customers in both the development and maintenance of established processes and the CRM (customer relationship management) systems.

·  Production of customer quotations and contracts.

·  Administration & development of opportunities and/or projects.

·  Ensuring that customer queries / requirements are managed and satisfied.

·  Ad hoc reporting and support of continuous improvement activity.

General

·  Assist the business support team.

·  To behave in accordance with the Company values and support corporate and site policies and objectives.

·  To comply with the Company Health & Safety rules and requirements at all times and take reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others.

·  Adherence to International standard requirements in relation to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (including energy).

PERSON SPEC - SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications

National certificate or diploma - business administration or similar.

Relevant Degree would be an advantage.

Experience

Previous experience in a business administration or related function is desirable. Any customer facing / sales exposure would be an advantage.

Skills

Proficient use of IT systems. Able to identify issues & improvements in same.

Good MS Office skills.

Excellent telephone / communication skills.

Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.

Knowledge of the heating (or related) industry would be an advantage.
