Adecco Cramlington are proudly representing our client in their search for an experienced Quality Control Operative to join their successful, growing business.

Hours for this role will be day shift only although a degree of flexibility towards working hours would be expected to assist with overtime during busier periods.

Duties will include:

·  Inspecting at various stages of the manufacturing process.

·  Ensuring their products are in pristine condition.

·  Carrying out random quality checks on product.

·  Reporting any defects to your Supervisor/ Manager.

·  Ensuring outbound products are clean prior to being wrapped.

·  Assisting in the packaging of the assembled units.

·  Lifting the units off the line for a 360 visual check.

The ideal candidate would:

·  Have a background in Quality Control, particularly from a furniture manufacturing / assembly environment.

·  Have a keen eye for attention to detail.

·  Fast learner and a desire to maintain high standards.

·  The ability to work and effectively communicate within a team.

·  Possess numeracy and literacy skills for associated paperwork.

·  Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining quality.

This is a full time, permanent role with immediate starts for the right candidate.
