Adecco Dundee are delighted to be supporting our long standing technical-based manufacturing client in Dundee - recruiting a Production Engineering Technician.
This is a temporary role due to run for approximately 6 months, salaried at £26-32k per annum.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
· Development and improvement of manufacturing processes and techniques to optimise process yields, productivity and reliability:
· Identification of areas for development / improvement
· Development of equipment, jigs and tooling
· Sourcing of equipment, jigs and tooling
· Documentation of developments / improvements
· Ownership and co-ordination of qualification of developments / improvements
· Monitoring of implementation, developments / improvements
· General production support
· Control and maintenance of jigs, fixtures and tooling
If you have the following skills and experience:
· HND in an engineering subject minimum
· Hands-on experience within a production environment
· Excellent communication skills - oral and written
· Structured, methodical approach to activities / projects
· Excellent data creation and analysis capabilities
· Good working knowledge of standard software packages (Excel etc)
· Capable of working on own initiative
· Determination and drive to see projects through to completion
· Eye for detail
