Adecco are currently recruiting for an IT Systems Analyst to join financial company in Blackpool.
· Purpose of role: To work collaboratively with key colleagues as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver the Group's strategic IT objectives that enables the business to drive growth.
· Work with Business Analyst / Project Support Officers to understand business requirements that will deliver the required efficiency gains
· Convert high level requirements into technical specifications and supplier delivered RFCs
· Liaise with 3rd party software developers to effectively deliver software that meets business needs
· System test delivered software
· Resolve issues identified through UAT Test process to ensure that the solution delivers the required outcomes
· Ensure that all technical documentation is created
· Act as 2nd Line Support for all LIVE software
· Work with Suppliers to ensure that the Group is utilising the available technology to the maximum effect including internal configuration where possible
· Ensure that all solutions are properly documented using standard documentation templates
· Performing root cause analysis for key incidents
· Ensure the Group's application Decision Engines are accurate and match manual spreadsheet
· Set up, configure, test and make live new decision engine rules
Person Specification:
- Essential
- 3+ years' experience in a software implementation role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication written and verbal
- Experience of managing competing priorities and stakeholders
- Experience of understanding complex business processes, complex data, information and requirements
- Be IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Understanding of the full development lifecycle
- Understanding of Change Control function
