Adecco are currently recruiting for a HR Officer on behalf of our established client who are world leading innovators within the engineering industry.

Our client has a fantastic reputation and is a recipient of numerous local awards in addition to the Queen's award. As a HR Officer you will be responsible for generalist HR duties as well as assisting in implementing and populating HR information system. This is a busy role requiring the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties will include:

·  Supporting Managers with the Advertising, Interviewing, and Liaison with Agencies regarding Recruitment.

·  Coordinating the on boarding process for new starters by producing offer letters, contracts and checking their right to work and Conducting new starter inductions.

·  Providing support with disciplinary cases, grievances, performance management etc.

·  Managing long term sickness cases, organising referrals, return to work arrangements.

·  Assisting with implementation of the HR information system through data input, creation of workflows.

·  Completing all administrative HR processes in a timely and efficient manner, including scanning and filing of all employee documentation.

·  Dealing with HR related queries, providing a professional service at all times

·  Liaising with the payroll team to ensure enquiries, ad-hoc instructions and payroll changes are processed within the correct pay period.

·  Assisting with company benefits administration.

Requirements:

·  The successful candidate will have previous experience within generalist HR

·  Knowledge of UK employment legislation's

·  Excellent communication skills

·  To have obtained a CIPD qualification

·  Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

· 
Ability and wiliness to occasionally travel is essential as travel to other company's locations will be required.

In return our client can offer a salary of £22,000-£28,000 dependant on experience, Working hours Monday- Thursday 8am-4.45pm and Friday 8am-12.30pm. You will be entilted to 25days holiday + Bank holidays (pro rata). You willl be auto enrolled into a Pension (after 3months) for a 4% employer contribution and 5% employee contriburion.
