I have a fantastic opportunity for a Factory Handyman Painter to work for a major FMCG client in Slough. The role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of internal and external structure of an industrial factory building.

DEPARTMENT / DIVISION: Industrial factory.

Work is performed under the general supervision of a building's maintenance Co-ordinator. This position functions as a Handyman Painter and performs skilled work involving the maintenance and repair of internal and external structure of an industrial factory building.

WORK PERFORMED:

Performs minor building tasks and all types of industrial and domestic painting work. Demonstrates good use of hands tools from building trade. Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping and sanding, or by other means as necessary. Candidate paints buildings, structures and equipment. Caulks, putties, cements and plasters holes and cracks to all parts of the building. Candidate can use ladders and erects scaffold tower equipment and be able to use scissor lift equipment, full training and assessment can be provided. Candidate must be familiar with working within the confines of a company risk assessment and permit to work procedures and be able to work within a strict GMP/GHP manufacturing environment.
