The Role: Executive Editor

Responsibilities:

·  Oversee content strategy and editorial operations for all channels (site, social, newsletters), working with stakeholders across the relevant Marketing and Sales to develop and drive content marketing strategy, calendar, and operations. Drive audience research and data analysis to inform and refine strategy

·  Ensure core messaging strategy is reflected in content with clear customer content journeys mapped for each message

·  Establish, maintain, and continuously optimize the style and tone guidelines of the site and manage editors who are directly shaping all content on site

·  Establish new formats and channels to extend our insights further, such as developing podcasts, video series, etc. Ensure platform features and UX support our content strategy, serving as driver of new functionality/features related to content consumption and messaging, and recommending testing programs to optimize content UX on site

·  Build editorial partnerships with external industry groups, industry publications, and customers

Mandatory:

BA or MS degree, Extensive experience working in publishing, thought leadership, or content marketing programs

Desired:

Deep experience and demonstrated leadership in publishing, thought leadership, or content marketing programs with track record of measurable ROI and industry adoption

Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills strategic mindset, and business acumen
Creativity, and passion for surfacing and writing abou real-world trends in media, marketing, technology, and consumer behavior
Experience working in a cross-functional team, including social media, email marketing, paid media, data analysis, and production
Industry-leading editing and writing skills
Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills with a high degree of analytical rigor,
Curiosity, creativity, and passion for surfacing and writing about real-world trends in media, technology, and consumer behaviour
Experience working in a cross-functional team
