We have exciting opportunity to work within one of our clients in Higher Education. You must have experience of DBS either from your last position or previous jobs or have worked in a similar role. The position will be based near Hendon Central tube station. The position is to start Monday 6 th July for a minimum of 3 months. Please only apply if you are available to start immediately and have the relevant experience as per above.

As a member of the core DBS unit, the post holder will have primary responsibility for working alongside the Admissions team and the Contracts Operations Administrator to ensure that where specified, all students on identified professional programmes have completed DBS checks prior to the commencement of their professional placements. This will include the following.

Managing the professional programme student online DBS checks application to ensure that all students requiring clearance at programme start and at specific points throughout their studies are DBS checked. Ensuring seamless collaboration and communication between CC&G Unit and admissions in relation to the DBS status of applicants and new students. Also, a smooth and seamless handover of student information from admissions to the Unit during the transition from applicant to student and at the start of teaching.

Process online DBS checks for professional programme students whom have not been checked by admissions, as they do not require a DBS check at admissions stage or their DBS checks are not covered by other departments. Also, deal with all staff and student queries in relation to this including training issues.

Essential

·  The successful candidate will be educated to at least A-level standard or equivalent.

·  Other candidates will be considered if they have relevant experience.

·  High level computing skills, including MS Access and Excel. h) The ability to exercise considerable tact and diplomacy

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Ability to work on own initiative

·  The ability to work within a team

·  Proactive approach to taking ownership of and solving problems m) Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team

·  Flexible approach to working hours during peak periods as there may be some

·  weekend working
