An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join a public sector organisation based in East London.
The role is initially for 6-8 weeks and successful applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of telecare services to residents.
Successful applicants will be required to work 12 hour shifts on a rota basis to ensure a high quality, efficient, empathetic and responsive 24 hour service. There are two shift patterns available, 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am. Please note that this role requires an Enhanced DBS.
Key duties include:
· Work collaboratively with internal and external agencies such as Adult Social Services, etc.
· Have experience dealing with customers and external agencies in a high pressure environment
· To answer telephone calls from vulnerable service users and members of the public, to provide a high standard of service to clients
· To provide a front line customer service function demonstrating empathy and professionalism
· Updating client information on computer system ensuring details are maintained and up to date
· Booking appointments and organising diaries
· Dealing with emergencies in a calm and caring manner, typing and collating concise notes accurately
