Our client based at East Midlands Airport, are offering some great opportunities for Ramp Agents to join them immediately.

The role is on-going and a seasonal role.

In order to be meet the criteria required, you will need to

**Hold a full UK driving license **

Duties

·  Load and unload air cargo onto vehicles and storage areas

·  Prepare and palletize cargo as needed

·  Ensure paperwork related to the cargo is correct

·  Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment

·  Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations

·  Deliver air cargo to appropriate recipient if required

·  Provide special handling of live animals as required

·  Operate specialist equipment which may include vans, fork lift trucks, cargo dollies/trailers.

·  Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager

·  Comply with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements

·  Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)

· 
In order to gain and Airside pass, you must:

·  Able to work any hours covering a 24hour rota, including weekends and bank holidays
* Be able to make your own way to East Midlands Airport
* Hold a full UK driving license
* Provide Eligibility to work in the UK and have current and valid photo ID
* Be free from un-spent convictions (Criminal Check)
* Must not have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months at a time in the last 5 years.
* Undertake 5 year references check and support any gaps of 30 days or more
