What you can expect:
In this position, you will ensure that the materials necessary for fulfilling demand are sourced and procured in line with the requirements of the business.
In this role, your main responsibility is:
· To prepare and implement local and regional procurement strategies.
· To handle supplier management, including selection, negotiation and awarding
of contracts and agreements.
· You will manage RFx's for your responsible categories.
· You will be required to build and maintain excellent supplier relationships and
communications.
· In addition, you will be expected to develop in-depth product knowledge and
proactively monitor market trends and supplier developments.
· You will also need to work closely with other departments and provide analysis
reports where applicable.
About you:
· You are educated to graduate Level in either business or economics and CIPS
· Level 4 would be an advantage.
· Ideally you will already have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role and have good
commercial awareness
· You will be a highly organised and analytical individual with problem solving
abilities, a team player, who is able to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely and
efficient manner.
· You are a proficient user of MS Office applications and of SAP.
· During negotiations and discussions, you are capable of skilled communication in
English.
