Adecco have a fantastic opportunity to join a successful company based in Newbury. Our client is looking for a Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is working Monday - Friday and is offering a salary of £28,000 - £30,000.

Duties include:

·  Ensure all actions on the system are managed and maintained

·  Daily expediting of purchase orders with suppliers

·  Obtaining quotes

·  Maintenance of system data

·  Identify opportunities for process and supply chain improvements

·  Build good working relationships with suppliers, internal customers and undertake regular reviews

·  Plan and allocate work to agreed deadlines

·  Co-ordinate the import Logistics

·  Escalation of potential supply issues

·  Work closely with all other departments

·  Drive activities to achieve and exceed these

Candidates will ideally have/be:

·  Minimum of 3 year's Buyer experience

·  Preferred Sub-Contract background (not essential)

·  Experience of working with MRP in a multi-site environment

·  Proficient in MS Office

·  Full driving licence
