Key tasks

We are excited to invite a Talent & Culture Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone with a passion for people and who can partner with us in supporting our values and culture to life.

Our Talent & Culture Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Talent & Culture Team by handling administrative tasks, assisting in our recruiting efforts and taking care of fellow heartists day to day human resource needs. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

•Posting jobs, screening applications/applicants, reference checks, coordinating background investigations and tracking status of open positions.
•Entering and tracking Worker’s compensation, unemployment claims, employee verifications.
*Manage and maintain all ambassador files.
•Entering all ambassador information into our HRIS/Payroll system. Including new hires & payroll changes.
•Assist heartists with requests regarding payroll, benefits, etc.
•Support and assist in all training & recognition programs.
•Coordinate and assist with annual open enrollment activities.
•Ensure all communication boards are updated and maintained.
•Assist with special projects as needed.

Essential and optional requirements

Education: High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: One to two years’ experience in Human Resources related positions. Prior hotel experience preferred.

Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation, wage and hour issues, and labor relations, including, but not limited to the following statutes and their comparable state and local laws (where applicable): Title VII, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, ERISA, and NLRA.
