Job description

Key tasks

1.Establish, maintain, and use his library of reference materials, periodicals, texts and sales leads: stay abreast of market trends and hotel selling techniques to fulfill the hotel
occupancy and revenue by the direction of DOS/DOSM.
2.Research the sales on a continuing basis to determine where business comes from, what is the influence, who the hotel’s clients are, how they normally arrive in the city in
relation with the corporate accounts, travel agents, Social events, NGO and etc.
3.Go on sales trip to promote and solicit business for the hotel.
4.Maintain close contacts within the community and in neighbouring sales areas, with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private club, professional associates, etc. … to
procure new business for the hotel. This will be done by means of personal sales call (a minimum of 5 call per day), telephone contacts and written communication.
5.Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping Departments in handling of room reservations and customers’ inquiries, requests and complaints.
6.Regular direct mail campaigns that stimulate local interest in the Hotel’s facilities, announce a special event, promote the credit card promotion, etc that prepared and created
by the DOS/DOSM, FBM and Executive Chef.
