Key tasks

Sales Executive- Corporate & Leisure

Main Responsibilities :

- Achieve sales in the best possible conditions for Novotel Sharjah Expo Center

- To secure the Corporate business or the leisure for the hotel maximizing yield and growing business from within these markets to meet budgeted revenue.

- Implements and achieves activities outlined in the sales action plan as directed by DOSM

- Participates in sales trips, road and trade shows, under the direct approval of DOSM to areas with potential for Dubai.

- To continuously be in contact and communicate with guests and clientele to keep abreast with their needs and requirements

- To establish accounts with the prospective client

- Conduct on site clients inspections

- Complete daily sales, weekly and monthly reports

- Conducts self-evaluations and reviews general performance, determines areas for improvement and takes appropriate steps and actions to improve targets

- As a general Ambassador for the hotel, he/she are responsible for the promotion and sharing of information which will be of use to the successful operations of all business
development for the hotel

Essential and optional requirements

1. Degree in Hotel Management school, or general Business school.

2. In-depth Knowledge of the concepts and Analysis of the Corporate Market in UAE ,Sharjah will be an advantage

3. A clear understanding of hotel industry is necessary as well as analytical capabilities.

4. IT Skill : Excel. PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

5. Languages: effective communication skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English

6. Strong Selling, Time Management, Communication, Presentation and Negotiation Skills

7. The person should motivate and inspire others

8. Local Hotel’s experience and UAE driving licence are mandatory .
