Job description

Key tasks

•Answers, confirm and process all request for reservations in a timely manner according to the established procedures.
•Answer phone calls in pleasant and polite manner.
•Provide concise information of hotel product and services provided by hotel.
•Ensure all correct information of the reservation are correctly updated and key in to OPERA.
•Work closely and responsible for accepting reservations with Sales & Marketing and Front Office to ensure all relevant details, feedback concerning reservations and services.
•All reservations made must be guarantee by credit card otherwise booking held until 1800hrs.
•Generating confirmation letter and pro forma invoice to corporate or FIT bookings.
•Process of cancellation policy.
•Updating correct billing instruction in OPERA.
•Checking future arrivals.
•Ensuring room rates key in correctly.
•Understand the status and benefits for Le Club and Accor Plus members.
•Follow up No show.
•Handling VIP and CIP reservation.
•Group Booking process.

Essential and optional requirements

•Applicants must process at least SPM or Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
•Able to communicate and understand in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Others languages is advantages.
•Good listening skills and ability to anticipate guest enquiry.
•Pleasant personality and proper grooming.
•Applicants should be Malaysian citizen.
