Ambitious, hard-working and committed
HBO degree in hospitality management, HR or another related field of study
Recent graduate with HR experience (e.g. through an internship)
Familiar to the luxury hotel world and the various departments that make up a hotel
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
A networker, that loves to connect with people
Creative with in-depth understanding of social media channels
Fluent in English, Dutch and further languages are a plus
Able to complete quality work within given deadlines
Elegant appearance and excels in a fast paced environment

But what is this job really about? As Recruitment Specialist you oversee the complete recruitment process for all departments of the hotel. From identifying what positions to recruit (taking into account the budget), to writing the job description and posting these onto various channels. You are in charge of selecting candidates through phone interviews, leading the face-to-face interviews and successfully onboarding future ambassadors. It is in your nature to prioritize tasks effectively, communicate efficiently with both candidates and manager, and keep the overview of the complete process. Aside from the recruitment cycle, you handle the employer branding for the hotel. Meet the ambassadors of the Grand and portray the atmosphere we create behind the scenes to the outside world via Instagram (TheGrandCareers), Facebook (Talent and Culture Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam), LinkedIn (Sofitel Legend The Grand – Amsterdam) & co. A market-based salary in scale V according to the Horeca CAO
A full-time position based on a 38 hour week
Fixed working days from Monday to Friday
