Key tasks

We are looking for a Reception Supervisor to join our busy front office team here at Sofitel London Gatwick. As Reception Supervisor you'll be responsible for supporting the running of the Front Office department. You'll have good team management skills, strong customer service skills, be an excellent problem solver, who will lead from the front and gain respect from other team members. You'll also be well presented, have a bright personality and be passionate about service and working hard to make sure the department runs as well as possible.

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 1-2 years Receptionist/Front Desk experience in a similar high volume and fast paced environment.

Job Description

- To supervise and oversee the daily shift process and procedures, ensuring that all team members adhere to company standards and policy.
- Ensure exemplary levels of guest service are consistently maintained.
- Ensure our guest receive first class service, fast efficient check - in and check- out.
- Ensure all customers queries and requests are handled in a polite and efficient and courteous manner
- Maximize of room sales and revenue for the hotel
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the Hotel and local area
- Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel.
- Adherence to procedures relating to health, safety and security of guests
- Prompt response is given to the guests’ enquiries and assistance is offered appropriately
