Members Locker Room Attendant

The Members Locker Attendant is responsible for all upkeep and organization of both the Men’s and Ladies Member Locker Room.

What you will be doing:

·  Serves as a representative of the Club, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other staff, management, members, and guests.
·  Compliance with all Club Safety Regulations and participation in ongoing Safety Seminars.
·  Take dirty towels to laundry bin at the conclusion of each nightly shift.
·  Stock and store towels appropriately in locker bays, showers, sink areas.
·  Check showers for towels, papers, slippers, foot powder and soap.
·  Clean and polish both street and golf shoes.
·  Check and replace golf spikes at member’s or guest’s request.
·  Place small towels in bathroom as needed.  Make sure wet areas are fully stocked.
·  Maintain cleanliness and appearance of full Locker Room area.
·  Check vanity, clean towels, soap dispenser, and shampoo supplies several times a day.
·  Maintain an antiquate inventory of all supplies.
·  Issue locker keys, towels, and supplies to members.
·  Report any shortage of locker room supplies to supervisor.
·  Orders supplies as needed.
·  Maintain clean Poker Room.
·  Both Men’s and Ladies Locker Room kept to the same standards.
·  Must understand Micros and Food and Beverage menus. Also able to serve in compliance with Fairmont Grand Del Mar standards.
·  Must have basic alcohol knowledge and understand bar service standards
·  Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
·  Maintain a neat and clean workstation / bar area.
·  Make every effort to learn member’s names, interests, etc.
·  Always accommodate member/guest needs/requests

 

Your experience and skills include:

·  Valid driver’s license required.
·  Knowledge of all driving range operations.
·  Appropriately groomed to Club’s standards.
·  Uniform must be pressed and clean with appropriate shoes.
·  When not in uniform, adhere to Club’s dress code.
·  Above average customer service skills
·  Must become familiar with members, their likes and dislikes.
·  Must be able to communicate effectively with members, guests and employees.  Understanding of English language is essential for communication with members and guests.
