Job description



Key tasks

• To manage reservation of meeting rooms and restaurants (for function purposes) in order to achieve maximum revenue.
• To convert all confirmed MICE and banquet leads into Banquet Event Orders and Memos, in order to be understood and carefully executed by all department concerned (FO, Accounting, House Keeping, Engineering, and Executive Office).
• To assist Director of SM and Director of FB to implement the marketing program of MICE and banquet products of the hotel.
• To aggressively pursue any potential organizer, and to secure new banquet opportunities.
• To welcome any potential organizer and introduce the product and show the banquet facilities, as well as other hotel facilities.
• To make daily courtesy calls
• To make daily sales calls
• To be aware of competitor pricing & promotions and to prepare a quarterly competitor comparison report.
• Keeps a record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them.
• Prepares a tentative monthly meeting room blocking to record all sales and other related activities for the preceding month.
• Presents a summary of his / her visits to the RDOSM on a weekly basis (Weekly Sales Plan) prior and after the week are completed.
• Ensures that all new clients have no negative credit references.
• Records the statistics of his / her sales accounts. Records all daily sales.
• Submits production reports on his/her list of accounts on a monthly basis.
