Job description



Key tasks

1. Draws up the Marketing Plan annually together with General Manager of the hotel.

2. Closely observes matters pertaining to competition.

3. Forecasts future travel patterns and provided trade feedback to the management.

4. Identify business potential and upkeeps close contact with former and potential clients through personal visits, phone calls and correspondence in view of entering into contracts with them, especially with corporate accounts.

5. Ensure that the sales team meet clients requirement and that the client service offered corresponds effectively to their requests. In the event of complaints made by clients, should the need arise, to avail him/herself as mediator between the hotel and clients & guests.

6. Develop and foster good rapport with the public, clients and members of the trade in an effort to ensure and promote a good image of the hotel.

7. Ensure all sales advertising and public relations efforts provide optimum profit returns.

8. Assists the General Manager to achieve hotel’s business objectives and revenue goals.

9. Sound communication skills.

10. Ability to lead, to provide guidance and to develop team member.

11. Knowledge and skill in crisis management.

12. Good skills of organization and presentation.
