Key tasks

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for the daily operation of the department and to take over in the absence of the Superiors.
• To ensure that food quality is of high standards and consistent.
• Planning and organizing daily operations needs.
• Provides functional assistance and direction to the kitchen’s daily operations.
• Produce high levels of food quality to satisfy the needs of guests.
• Ensure that all standard recipes are followed in the preparation process.
• Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards.

Essential and optional requirements

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years previous work-related skill (local cuisine), knowledge, or experience is needed.
• Good knowledge of local ingredients
• Education: Minimum or Equivalent to “N” Levels, or Culinary Skill Certificate
• Able to read, write and understand the English Language
• Basic knowledge in computer skills
• Know how to handle the wok and control the fire
• Willing to work shifts during weekends and public holidays
