Key tasks

We are recruiting a Category Manager with a strong experience on Digital Solutions to join the Corporate Procurement Direct Hospitality Organization. Based at the AccorHotels Headquarter in Issy les Moulineaux, the role will be to report to the Hardware and Guest Technologies Purchasing Manager.
As a Procurement Leader you will be responsible for sourcing Hardware, Digital and Technological Solutions and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend suppliers and have no problem with travelling.
Responsibilities
• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Abilities to develop a strategy at a local level in the case there is no local team

Essential and optional requirements

Requirements:
• Relevant Experience: at least 5 years of total working experience. Ideally with experience in telecommunication integrator company.
• A work Experience in IP convergence Solutions, European telecommunication solutions, Electronic Locks, LAN, WIFI, Audio solution, IP TV, Energy
• Experience with BtoB or BtoC Ecommerce Tools
• Proven working experience as a buyer,
• Awareness in distribution and BtoB IT European market
• A capability for negotiation and networking
• leadership capabilities
• Educational background: Business Administration, Commerce, Master2

Personal skills:

• Excellent inter-personal skills are required to bridge external and cross-border relationships effectively to achieve win-win results.
• The incumbent should be prepared to adapt to an entrepreneurial culture and fast-changing business environment.
• Required language skills: English and French is possible
