Key tasks

General Missions
• Ensures the sale, the organization of the service and the services offered to the client of the bar
• Animates its sales outlet
• Adopts the right behaviour and attitude in the spirit of Service ibis Styles and around its values: Modernity, Simplicity, Well-being

Main Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship
• Offers a warm and personalized welcome to the customer and pays him a permanent attention in the spirit of service of the brand
• Highlights its bar offer
• Establishes good relations with clients, advises and retains them
• Understand the specific characteristics of ibis Styles and showcase the offers of the brand and its hotel

Business / production technology
• Knows all products of the bar and the card (drinks data sheet)
• Ensures the supply and installation of its workstation in accordance with the standards of the brand
• Provides customer service, adapting its organization and its rhythm according to the affluence
• Recognizes different types of customers and adapts their service according to the basic rules.
• Ensures the durability of the material made available to it
• Applies the instructions for opening and closing the point of sale

Business / Sales
• Knows the services of the hotel and offers them to the customer
• Highlights promotions, cocktails and bar products
• Live the animation of its bar
• Develops the sales of the bar through additional sales techniques
• Encourages the customer to express themselves on the interactive guestbook

Management
• Is involved in the achievement of the objectives of its service:
- scrupulously respecting the data sheets and dosages
- avoiding any waste and loss of goods
- by following the procedures and internal controls applied in the hotel
• Participates in inventory and inventory management
• Ensures invoicing and receipts of services sold
• Is responsible for its cash fund

Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
• Ensures the cleanliness of the workplace and food safety by respecting the hygiene rules of the HACCP
•. Complies with the instructions for use and safety of the equipment placed at its disposal.
• Applies the hotel security rules (fire ...)
• Respects the commitments of the sustainable development policy taken on the establishment (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste ...)

Essential and optional requirements

* minimum 1-2 years working experience as a Barman
* certified with Basic Food Hygiene and HACCP training
* working knowledge of Micros
* UAE base will be an advantage and preferred
