Do you want to work in the biggest 4 star hotel of the BeNeLux?
We are currently looking for an experienced Banqueting Operations Manager to help lead our banqueting team and to deliver professional and memorable banqueting services to our guests.
In this role, you'll be involved at every level of decision making, from marketing and selling the banqueting spaces to ensuring that each event is a success.
You are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Banqueting department. You will be leading a team of five experienced members, so this role is as much about people as it is about the product.
You should also be comfortable with dealing with a variety of clients. Some will be professional event organizers who will hire our spaces for conferences, receptions and exhibitions, so there will be repeat business to win.
Your job is to ensure your team meets the expectations of each client, whether they want a high profile corporate dinner for 400 or an anniversary party for 40. In our big hotel, all of those events may be happening on the same day.

Key responsibilities; although not limited to:
•Assisting with the daily operation of the Banqueting department, including recruiting, scheduling, staffing, and supervision of all staff;
•Collaborating with our sales department in order to operate the facilities profitably;
•Planning well so each event runs smoothly;
•Managing your own team;
•Managing the inventory, control, and breakage/loss;
•Training and coaching all Banquet staff;
•Assisting our F&B manager in creating the strategy for the food and beverage product.

As with most hospitality jobs, it's the quality of your experience that counts. However, any event management, hospitality management or F&B degrees will boost your career prospects and help you in this job.
