Job description

Key tasks

• Assist in controlling the daily operations of the restaurant area (review set-up and food and beverage preparation and service) to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and procedures and to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality.
• Assist in supervise and direct the restaurant associates including supervisors, captains, waiter/ress.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling the maintenance/sanitation of the restaurant areas and equipment to protect the assets and ensure quality service.
• Meet with the customers to ensure the quality/service of the food and to review any changes, issues and/or problems to ensure delivery of a quality product.
• Assist the outlet Manager in the daily operation
• Represent the Outlet Manager in his / her absence
• Manage the staff to provide service as per Sofitel standard
• Train the staff as per Sofitel standard
• Assist the Outlet Manager in planning for projects and special Events
• Ensures 100% guest satisfaction by providing cousu main service to the guest
• Ensure a minimum of breakage and spoilage by training the staff
• Always have “Can do” attitude
• Always smile in front of the guest
