- Manage all aspects of a banquet or an event.
- Supervise and check the banquet set-up, menu presentation and pricing.
- Develop menus, theme parties, coffee breaks and meeting set up with the Banquet Service.
- Supervise stock rotations for soft and alcoholic drinks and catering supplies, identify any needs.
- Make sure that customers have a satisfying dining experience.
- In coordination with the F&B Manager, handle complaints and remarks relating to the department.
- Coordinate with the departments close to the banquet (Sales, kitchen, restaurant, front office, etc).
- Responsible for hiring, training, disciplining and evaluating the banquet employees.
- Manages the team of banquet staff, creating a good working atmosphere.
Work Experience
- At least 1 year experience at the same position or more than 2 years in supervisor level in 4-5 stars hotel/resort
- Good communication in English
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
- Able to develop cooperative relationships with other departments
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Good time management
