Analyst, Payroll and Workforce Management
This position will oversee and support Canadian and US Hotels in their implementation of Ceridian Dayforce’s Payroll and Workforce Management modules, and will ensure all the Hotel’s scheduling, timekeeping, time off, and pay rules are incorporated into the system.

What you will be doing:

·  Guide Hotels on the requirements of the Ceridian Discovery Workbook and instructs them how to complete the workbook to ensrue the folowing are identified and detaied for the Ceridian database configuration team:
·  rules and policies pertaining to scheduling, timekeeping, punch policies, time off entitlements
·  the property’s on-site departments, departments, jobs, positions, payroll earnings and deductions codes
·  legislative, regulatory and/or union rules
·  Partners with Ceridian configuration team to clarify any property policies or rules defined in the property's discovery workbooks. 
·  Tracks change requests from properties and evaluates need for system configuration change versus need to adopt current system set-up
·  Assists properties by auditing HR and payroll data submissions prior to Ceridian loading data into testing and production sites
·  Hosts UAT and payroll parallel testing kick-off call with the properties - providing training, expectations & timelines
·  Hosts the weekly testing calls with the properties - answering questions on the scenarios & testing, troubleshoots issues and assists properties with fixes
·  Works with the Ceridian team to resolves configuration and back end solutions for issues found during UAT and payroll parallel testing

Your experience and skills include:

·  3-5 years' experience in Payroll, Finance, or Human Resources (preferably HRIS)
·  Experience using payroll and HRM systems - Dayforce experience a definite asset
·  Understand and have experience with payroll processing
·  Experience using MS Excel to combine, integrate and review data - comfort with the xml format a definite asset
·  Ability to learn systems and processes quickly
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
·  English, with French as a preferred second language proficiency

Your team and working environment:

·  Based at the North & Central America Regional Office in Toronto, Ontario, this position is part of a new Project Implementation team.
