Geotechnical Engineering is a provider of specialist ground engineering services across a broad range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Part of the ACCIONA group of companies, Geotechnical Engineering enjoys the position as one of Australia’s most respected and diverse engineering and construction companies.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a suitably experienced Cost Administrator to join our team.

The Cost Administrator reports to the Finance Manager via the Induction & ICI Coordinator and is responsible for project procurement, claims, daily tracking of production and costs, and providing support through the project forecasting process. The Cost Administrator is fundamental to us understanding our daily costs and to the successful delivery of our projects.

Your focus will be project cost control, demanding:

Accuracy of data in GeoPRO, our project management system;

·
Management/review of external job costs;

·
Daily and weekly reporting; and

·
Daily Purchase Order processing

Ideally, you are Degree-qualified within a construction related discipline, have 1-3 years’ experience in a general finance role, or basic Contract Administration, and preferably experience as the sole Cost or Contract Administrator on projects up to $5-10m, or as part of a team on larger projects (not essential).
