JOB DESCRIPTION

YOUR ROLE: Visualisation Developer

As a Visualisation Developer, you will focus on designing and developing game-changing static and interactive dashboards, info-graphics and presentation material for our Government and Health clients. You'll develop and deliver solutions that collect, transform, analyse and visualise data. And you'll provide critical knowledge and value at strategic, tactical and operational levels.

Use a logical approach to solve complex design problems, and a user-centered approach to develop visualisation dashboards and UIs that best suits your client's needs.

Collaborate closely with client teams and Accenture SMEs to rapidly create concepts, prototypes and iterate on ideas leveraging Accenture assets.

Develop and test functional designs with a meticulous attention to detail.

·
Use your tech-savvy know-how to ensure functional requirements are met.

·
Supervise application build, test, and deploy activities.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

· Degree in graphic design/visual communication, or relevant quantitative/software background (Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science…etc.)
· 2+ years of experience designing data visualisations and user interfaces including dashboards and executive briefings
· Strong knowledge of visual analytics tools including Tableau, QlikView and Spotfire
· Ability to extract and manipulate data structures using SQL
· Strong understanding of User-Centred Design
· Confident communicator, able to express your ideas and convey complicated concepts simply
· Ability to justify and defend your design decisions to both designers and non-designers
· Strong information design and typographic
· Must be Australian Citizen

· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
· Able to run ideation sessions with project stakeholders and users, translating complex ideas into prototype visualisations even at an early stage
· Full life cycle development
· Experience leading teams
· Agile methodology
· Government and/or Health industry experience
· Knowledge of one or more of the following languages R, Python, Scala, SAS, Hadoop (Pig, Hive, etc.) or Java
· Exposure to Machine Learning methodologies
· Dimensional Data Modelling
