Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or any related field
Experience:
1 - 3 years in Testing/Functional Activities
· Minimum coding experience
· Good analytical skills
· Focus on small details
· Quick learner
· Able to work under pressure
· Conversant in both English and French (both written and spoken)
· Extrovert with good communication skills while able to work in a team
· Good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
· Proficient in manual testing including
o Writing TC
o Proper understanding of testing terminologies
o Execute test cases
o Able to read a functional document with minimum assistance
o Be critical and don't hesitate to ask questions
o Has some knowledge of test management tool including but not restricted to HP ALM
o Able to log defects such that the technical team can reproduce the defect
o Good knowledge of test management
o Able to provide proper estimates of tasks assigned while respecting the said budget
· Has a basic understanding of automation and ready to learn automation & performance testing
Other Requirements:
· Certified in ISTQB would be a definite advantage
· Good knowledge of SQL will be an advantage
· Knowledge of Agile testing is a good to have
· Knowledge of test automation tools including Selenium, HP QTP, IBM RFT among others would be an advantage
