The work:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while making sound credit decisions with attention to detail.

Perform income, credit, title and property analysis on Home Equity loan files submitted within the time frame established by departmental management.

·
Examine loan documents and loan processing system for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all required documents and conditions are received.

·
Perform timely reviews of conditions submitted a well as loan resubmissions.

·
Maintain quality and production standards as defined by business.

·
Provides exemplary customer service to both internal staff and external customer by clearly explaining credit decision and offering alternative options when needed.

·
Adequately and effectively explain in written and verbal form the decision reached in a manner that will maintain a positive relationship with all customers.

·
Actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the client. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

·  Minimum 1 year of experience in underwriting First Mortgage or Home Equity full package final signoff authority within the past 5 years experience
·  Bonus points if you have at least 3 years experience working as a Mortgage Underwriter
·  HS Diploma or GED
