Location: Woking, UK
Salary: £20,000 - £26,500

IT & Audio Visual Support Engineer is mainly responsible for the operation and maintenance of existing VR facilities in his/her respective location.

What responsibilities will you have?
Provide expert event support to load Virtual Reality (VR) digital assets, make small amendments to those assets, and navigate users through the VR Environment.
Manage the operations of the hardware and software components of the VR facilities.
Maintain the schedule of VR Sessions in each facility.
Administer support contracts with hardware and software vendors.
Report on the usage and service measures of the VR facilities.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

Business Knowledge & Client Interaction:
·  Interacts with business partners and clients in a professional way.
·  Conducts project meetings/calls on their own if required.
·  Aptitude to collect information and provide/document requirements for a project
·  Capacity to create a project schedule for all team members to follow
·  Manages project timelines and holds other team members to deadlines
·  Can deal with last minute changes and issues

Required Skill sets:
·  Good PC operational skills. Edit, create files, and work in shared drive environment.
·  First level network troubleshooting experience
·  Moderate to intermediate PC and Application troubleshooting skills.
·  Basic graphic manipulation skills, resize image, convert formats (e.g. JPG TO TGA).
·  Good Verbal communication skills.
·  Ability to take direction from moderator and client team.
·  Ability to multitask during event (e.g. camera manipulation while navigating/operating software).
·  Set up and operate AV system, DVD-R, streaming video.
·  Aptitude to learn new hardware and software (e.g. Eye Tracking System).
·  Ability to resolve and escalate studio operational issues.
·  Ability to work in a team environment
·  Strong sense of ownership of assigned tasks (getting it done and done well).
·  Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Outlook and MS Project
·  Autonomy in balancing day to day workload, priorities and schedule is expected
