The Federal Financial Associate Manager will serve as a member of a large project team supporting the client's financial improvement and audit readiness goals through a variety of workstreams. The team member must possess a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. They will provide guidance on finance business processes, and all controls, and financial management systems, in support of the client's efforts to produce auditable financial statements.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
·  Minimum 7 years of experience in one or more of the following capabilities: federal accounting and/or auditing, federal financial statement audits, audit/internal controls testing
·  Minimum 3 years of financial improvement and audit readiness experience.
·  US Citizenship Required
Preferred Qualifications:

·  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred
·  Big 4 experience with accounting or auditing on federal engagements
·  Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
·  Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
·  Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
·  Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
·  Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
