At Fjord, the Business Designer diagnoses and delivers people centric strategy based on properly defined and measurable business goals, a sound business model and positioning, and carefully aligned with the client's organizational and institutional drivers and the broader business ecosystem. Works collaboratively with other disciplines and with clients to ground innovative services in a business context.

Role Description:
A professional in this position, at this level within Fjord Accenture Interactive has the following responsibilities:
· Pursue business opportunities that reflect Fjord's strengths.
· Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to align business needs with solutions.
· Will be the primary connection point to the various leaders throughout Accenture serving the travel, automotive, life sciences and retail industries, for large, strategically-led, design-infused deals and industry content
· Create and present thought leadership pieces throughout the year and speak at multiple industry-related external events/conferences
· Have an operational and presentational mastery of the Fjord story and offering to help advise clients about design and innovation. Advise clients on Fjord proposals and points of views, stepping them through operational and tactical nuances.
· Lead design education sessions for prospective Accenture Interactive clients and drive resulting business pursuits.
· Own the craft, capability, and quality output at the project level.
· Regularly connect with the regional Accenture Interactive Business Development counterpart to co-create account strategies and pursuit plans.
· Qualify individual pursuit requests to ensure Fjord appropriateness. If something does not qualify, provide triage to other design support entities within Accenture.
· Contribute to all Business Development activities and deliverables in relation to pursuits, including development of pitch decks with regional studios
· Attend, help plan, and contribute to Fjord and business development community events; be a Fjord ambassador.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
These are the minimum requirements for an aspirant to be considered for the position applying to:
·  2 years' experience focused on client and business development in a design agency or consulting firm
·  2 years of experience with multi-channel approaches and design areas, including physical and connected
·  2 years' experience in growth strategy focused on one or more of the following areas; market penetration, market and product expansion, diversity strategy
·  1 years' experience working collaboratively with multiple cross-discipline teams
Preferred Qualifications
·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
·  History of tackling and solving complex business challenges; a strong personal mission to help find truths and challenge orthodoxies
·  Nascent mastery of the Business Design landscape, including but not limited to design intelligence, measurement, KPIs, organizational change, venturing, design storytelling, design thinking, culture change, coaching, business/investment case generation, and product management.
·  Understanding (but first-hand experience not necessary) of basic programming languages such as HTML and CSS through the most recent version.
·  Prior experience using agile thought methodology
·  Experience bringing Design solutions and products to market
