Job Description

MOBGEN is a mobile solution company that has been acquired by Accenture in July 2016. Backend developers are responsible for the development, architectural design and implementation of server side applications, web services and API's.

As an intern in the Backend Team, you will be translating requirements into a full working functional design, create (client friendly) documentation for all services and or API's and assist the frontend team during implementation.

Your tasks will include, among others:

· Working in technical projects, ensuring the wishes of clients and that the end-users are kept in mind before, during and after the completion of projects.
· Working with Creative and Technical teams and external companies.
· Create technical designs and manage timely implementation of high-traffic applications.
· Keeping in control of project specifications, company´s design, coding and performance tuning standards.
· Further investigate the development of emerging (mobile) web technologies.
· Work closely with other development units in the company to share information regarding application subject matter and know-how.

Place in the organization

You will work cross-industry, meaning that you will get in touch with clients from all industries.

Qualifications :

Are you the perfect candidate?

·  You are available for six months in either Amsterdam or La Coruña.
·  You are a motivated and hungry learner and an organized responsible person.
·  You have a proactive problem solving attitude.
·  You speak fluent English.
·  You have knowledge of Javascript (NodeJS) and MongoDB.
·  You have a good understanding of software patterns.
·  This internship would be a part of your study program.
·  Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:

o Docker

o AWS

o Git

o PHP

o MySQL
